Horizontal painting of long canvases is much more pleasant than on a staircase. The lowest position of a painter's canvas on an easel is often 40-60 cm above the ground, which gives canvases from 120 cm an extra challenge.
You have to assemble this easel yourself with all ready-made parts and it has great advantages over the pre-assembled variant. The risk of damage during transport is much smaller if the wood is packed into 1 unbreakable packaging. The construction is stronger with self-assembly, the ready-made versions are built with pieces of wood & glue, the self-assembly is done with sturdy screws. There is a clear manual and because all holes are pre-drilled, mounting is done in no time.
